#90 Queen Moose Bed

This beautiful handcrafted bed will make you smile every time you see it. It took several years to collect the wood pieces used in this creation. The curved  headboard piece is a root from an upturned Ponderosa pine. The curved footboard  is from a  nice solid snowbent lodgepole, which is a fairly rare find.  The Moose inlay on the headboard is nearly 1 inch thick walnut. Each burl adds a rustic forest feel to this bed.  Its side rails are sturdy 2x6 with quick connect hardward couplers, connected with 4 2x4 cross pieces to insure strength. A Natural stain and 3 coats of polyerethane give the bed a beautiful finish you can feel.
